Cenobio's Batch Plata was created to honor the first generation of the family, Don Cenobio, who founded the Sauza dynasty. In 1873, Don Cenobio purchased the Sauza family distillery in Tequila, Jalisco, now known as "La Perseverancia" where Tres Generaciones is still produced today. About the Brand

Our company’s history begins in 1885, when the descendants of Don Antonio Faustino de Aceves y Casillas built Hacienda La Capilla. Don Antonio Aceves, better known as “Amo Aceves” was the founder of Capilla de Guadalupe, a town that got its name from the town chapel, built in honor of the “Virgin of Guadalupe”. This town rests under the shade of the Cerro Gordo, in the heart of Jalisco Highs, at 7290 feet above sea level, providing excellent conditions for the growing of agave, such as moderate climate and volcanic ground. Don Antonio was a hardworking man and a passionate promoter of quality. His descendants took advantage of the local Agave farming and formally started the company Hacienda la Capilla S.A. de C.V. in the year 1993. Since those days, the growth of agave has been its core business. La Adelita is a partnership bringing a renowned award winning vintner together with a generational family and visionaries in Mexico to create a uniquely pure and traditional tequila that is a 100% estate program.

History

Born in the Highlands of Jalisco, and raised in the Valleys of Tequila. Don Fulano is a product of the Fonseca family whose story begins in the Highlands of Jalisco where their great grandfathers began cultivating agave 140 years ago. Today - respected agave farmers – they also run La Tequileña, one of the highest-rated and most awarded tequila distilleries.

Don Fulano Imperial is the oldest, exceptionally rich, and complex with a great combination of elegance and power. Blended from dark European oak and oloroso sherry casks it’s abundant in fruit notes and spices like clove and cardamom. Deep notes of old leather, tobacco, and a lavish aroma of black cherries frame its singular style. It is velvety and permanent in the mouth. An exotic delight to sip on its own.

In 1993 Casa San Matías introduced the world the first extra añejo tequila. San Matías Gran Reserva is unique, a drink of a noble character and a product that reflects the precision that has been our trademark for more than 130 years.

Severo Reposado is a copper yellow, clean and bright tequila with excellent adhesion. Its aromatic notes are reminiscent of the fresh vanilla bean, sugar, piloncillo and caramel, evidencing barrel aging. The palate shows an integrated texture with a velvety inviting soft expression, with an aftertaste of a firm bouquet leading into a medium-long extension.

Extra Añejo Tequilas are aged at least 3 years in barrels, making the product itself at least 10 years old - accounting for the time agave takes to grow, at least 7 years - by the time it touches your glass.  Some extra añejos lean towards a cognac profile if given a heavier aging, while others that are more gently aged, simply are an extension of an añejo profile, but softer, sweeter, and with more presence of oak.  We suggest that these be sipped neat, or enjoyed with a single ice cube.

InSiete Leguas De Antano Extra Anejo tense golden yellow color, with golden shades and full body. It offers to the nose fruity notes and delicate accents to spices. The agave elegantly blends this aromatic harmony, fulfilling its olfactory promise in the mouth. For 5 years, the barrel coat ends up printing its sophisticated style, becoming the frame that highlights its pleasant personality.

Tequila Fortaleza is a small-batch, handcrafted tequila. It is made today with the same production methods that our family used to make tequila, over one hundred and forty years ago! We select each agave for ripeness before it is harvested, and cook them by steam in our small brick oven. We then use a two-ton stone wheel called a tahona to slowly squeeze the juices from the agave. After adding water from the volcanic mountain of Tequila and separating the fibers, we ferment the musto for 3 to 5 days. When fermentation is complete, we achieve our distinctive tequila by distilling twice in two very small, copper-pot stills.

An ultra-premium tequila filled with 150 years of history and heritage

Our Blanco is the foundation for all of our tequilas and delivers an authentic, balanced flavor profile where expressive spice and cooked agave give way to ripe fruit and honey-sweet floral notes.

Pavito begins with a base of Maestro Dobel’s Silver tequila double distilled in copper pot stills- achieving the smoothness that Dobel tequilas are known for. After a brief period macerating the fruits and spices, a third distillation is performed - a first for the Maestro Dobel portfolio - during which the pechuga is placed at the top of the still. The tequila vapors are thus infused with the aromatics of the fruits, spices and savory turkey breast. This intensifies the tequila, creating layers of complexity in the resulting liquid.
