Highlights include a balance between hints of cooked agave and fruit, and added vainilla and caramel bring out the intensity of the oak. With a lingering taste, an intense aroma, and a well-rounded and full body.

RECOMMENDED PAIRING

Ideal for drinking by itself, as an aperitif or digestif. It is recommended paired with dishes with complex, intense flavors. It also mixes well with juices, sparkling water, and soft drinks so that its intense characteristics stand out. It can also pair well with coffee lungo or espresso.

TASTING NOTES

This product is reminiscent of the old-fashioned way of making tequila, with intense aromas and flavors, highlights of cooked agave, hints of citrus like grapefruit, and fruity notes like apple and cantaloupe. Spicy notes include clove and anise.

Tequila

The añejo tequila of this limited edition is inspired by Calaveritas de Azucar, a colorful sweet traditionally made during Día de Muertos.

The Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release is a Limited Edition Reposado developed from agave grown on our property at the Cazadores Distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco – Arandas, MX. A limited amount of the product has been made, and the unique blend of liquid will serve as a time capsule to celebrate our Centennial anniversary, never to be recreated again.

The reposado tequila has a bright gold color from the unique blend of tequila from American oak and new French oak barrels. Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release has a smooth and sweet taste with a citrus and vanilla finish and an aroma of intense cooked agave with fruity and spicy notes.

100 Estate Release is a blend of tequilas aged separately in hand selected French oak and American oak barrels for 3 months and then blended together.
