Bomberger’s Declaration Distillery Bourbon honors the legacy of the former distillery known as Bomberger’s in the 1800’s and later as Michter’s in the 20th Century. The 2021 release of Bomberger’s is a robust Kentucky Straight Bourbon at 108 proof with a broad spectrum of distinctively rich characters. For the aging of this release, our maturation team chose special barrels, some of which were made from Chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) oak that has been naturally air dried for over 3 years. While similar barrels were used in the 2019 and 2020 releases of Bomberger’s, this year our production team opted to accentuate rich characters and depth by adjusting the char levels of the Chinquapin oak barrels thereby resulting in a wonderfully distinctive Kentucky straight bourbon.

Established in 1948, Douglas Laing & Co is an Independent Scotch bottler. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, the company produces a number of brands including their Remarkable Regional Malts range, featuring expressions like The Epicurean, Scallywag, Rock Oyster and Big Peat, and Timorous Beastie, among several others. The family-owned business specializes in artisan, Small Batch, and Single Cask bottlings. The original Timorous Beastie is referenced in Scotsman Robert Burns famous poemTo aMouse. Named after the timid mouse, this Timorous Beastie is anything but. The embodiment of the Highland single malt, this whisky is a marriage of the region's finest Malts including Dalmore, Glengoyne, and Glen Garioch. Non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46.8% abv, this whisky is a viscose spirit, rich in character, with an incredible mouth-feel.

In 1828, Springbank Distillery was founded on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illicit still in Campbeltown. (Today, Mitchell's great-great-great-grandson owns the distillery.) Within ten years, its whisky was so well-regarded that a blender by the name of John Walker purchased 118 gallons of whisky from Springbank at 43 pence a gallon. By the turn of the century as worldwide demand for Scotch whisky seemed insatiable distilleries throughout Scotland began cutting corners and outsourcing parts of the distillation process. Springbank Distillery, however, remained true to its Scottish heritage and today, remains one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step of the whisky making process from malting barley to bottling whisky on the same premises. After malting and lightly peating the barley (using locally cut peat), the distillers at Springbank mill and mash it in cast-iron mash tuns that are nearly a century old. The pure spring water used during the mashing process is sourced from Crosshill Loch, which in turn is fed by springs seeping from the northern slopes of 1,100-foot tall Beinn Ghuilean. After mashing the grains, the wash is slowly fermented over the course of 70 hours one of the longest fermentation processes in Scotland before being distilled. Because some of the wash is distilled twice and some is distilled three times, Springbank Whisky is said to be distilled two and a half times. Following distillation, the whisky is aged in used bourbon casks. Since Campbeltown is located on a narrow peninsula, the strong, perennial sea winds, warmed by the gulf stream, add a slight hint of saltiness to the whisky as it ages. A composition of bourbon and sherry casks, this whisky's extremely rich character earned it a Gold medal at the World Whiskies Awards in 2014.

This wonderful bourbon is bottled as close to barrel proof as possible. We add just a splash of our Kentucky limestone well-water when we empty the barrels for bottling. Thus, this whiskey is as smooth as any you will find.

In 1895, Masataka Taketsuru the father of Japanese Whisky was born in the small town of Takehara, Japan. At the time, Masataka's family owned a sake brewery, and in preparing to carry on the family trade, Masataka studied chemistry and biology at Osaka Technical High School. Upon matriculation, however, Masataka showed more interest in whisky than in sake and in 1918, enrolled at the University of Glasgow, becoming the first Japanese ever to study the art of whisky-making. While in Scotland, Masataka took chemistry courses during the day while apprenticing with distilleries at night, learning to distill and blend whisky first-hand at some of Scotland's most prestigious distilleries. In 1920, Masataka returned to Japan, and within the decade, had produced the country's first single malt whisky. Deeming the terroir perfect for whisky production, Masataka moved to the town of Yoichi in 1934 and opened the doors to Nikka Whisky Co. Yoichi is encapsulated by mountains (to the east, south and west) and by the Sea of Japan (to the north), creating a unique and isolated environment for whisky-production. The clean air, humidity and access to underground water filtered through a layer of peat results in a rich and masculine malt. Years later, Masataka established the Miyagikyo Distillery, which is also situated in northern Japan. Surrounded by mountains and two rivers, the Miyagikyo Distillery produces a more mild and feminine whisky as compared to Yoichi. This Yoichi single malt is full of pleasant peaty notes and smokiness, resulting from the traditional direct coal-fired distillation. The whisky also has subtle briny notes imparted onto the spirit by the sea breeze during the aging process.

Based out of Frisco, Texas, Devils River Whiskey was founded by Mike Cameron, co-founder of Rebecca Creek Whiskey, and president of the Texas Distilled Spirits Association. Their 90-proof bourbon is crafted from the pure Devils River spring waters. Texas Ranger John Coffee Hays named this great waterway the "Devils River" in 1840. The naturally-filtered limestone spring water is considered the purest water in Texas. In college, Cameron would take frequent trips to the feisty Southwest Texas river, the tributary of the Del Rio that would inspire the name of his new whiskey label. Devil's River whiskey is distilled using a signature method, in traditional copper pot stills designed for distilling complex, flavorful, dark spirits. The Bourbon is crafted from a high-rye proprietary blend of meticulously selected grains, giving the spirit its warm, golden notes. The grains are distilled with proprietary yeast strains designed to boost its bold flavors. The mash is then distilled in traditional copper pot stills and combined with the pure, iron-filtered, limestone-filtered spring water of the whiskey's namesake, before being aged in dark #4 charred oak barrels. This dark char enhance the bourbon's deep amber colors and bolster its sweet flavors. Chill filtered and bottled at 45% ABV you can expect smooth sweet flavors of oak, honey, and caramel. Devil Rivers Bourbon earned five gold medals "Best Bourbons 10 Years and Younger" by four separate spirits competitions, including the 2017 Denver International Spirits Competition, 2017 Los Angeles International Spirits Competition, 2017 New York's Top Fifty and the 2017 International SIP awards.

Our waste goes to a local farmer. We are a tourist attraction for the area and we pay a ton of taxes. This business is what small business in America is all about."" Embedded in the rolling Appalachian hills of Greenbrier County, West Virginia, Smooth Ambler Spirits is a testament to the craftsmanship and hard-work of Little and his cofounder, TAG Galyean. At their 5,200 square-foot distillery, Little and Galyean combine traditional distillation techniques with state-of-the-art equipment to produce remarkable spirits that are bold, complex and perfectly balanced. Founded in 2015 by Bobby Finan and Sean Insalaco, the industrial chic distillery opened its doors in July of 2015, in New York's historic Hydraulics manufacturing district. The distillery is named after the Tommyrotters Club, which according to the distillery founders, were a band of rebellious artisans in the early 20th century who broke rank from the Arts and Crafts Movement to create for creation's sake. They sought adventure, mischief and inspiration in nature. Bobby Finan gravitated towards the craft-distilling scene in NYC, and in 2013 he got his first start in the industry at the Cooperstown Distillery. After relocating to his hometown Buffalo in 2014 he met business partner, Sean Insalaco, and by July 2015, Tommyrotter Distillery was up and running. In the spring, summer and fall months, their multi-story distillery is open to visitors. Their beautiful modern glass-walled mezzanine tasting room gives a unique view of the entire production process. At Tommyrotters their production process is simple yet quite meticulous. No frills. No automation. Just handcrafted spirits, distilled batch by batch in small copper stills. Their spirits are distilled from American farm-grown grains. Smaller stills allow for greater control over the distillation process. They fill and label every single bottle by hand. Aged in offsite warehouses in Indiana, this whiskey was shipped in barrel to the Tommyrotter facility in Buffalo, NY. In the months prior to the bourbon's arrival in Western New York, the founders sought Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from the most renowned vineyards in Napa Valley and transported them to Buffalo.

In 1876, John D. Willett one of Kentucky's original bourbon aristocrats transferred his interest in the Willett & Frenke Distillery to his son-in-laws, Benjamin Mattingly and Thomas Moore. Mattingly and Moore continued to operate the Willett & Frenke Distillery together until 1881, when Mattingly finally sold his stake in the company to a group of investors. Within a few years, Thomas Moore acquired complete control over the distillery and eponymously renamed it. Moore would continue to operate the distillery for another five decades, until he was ultimately forced to close his doors at the onset of Prohibition. Today, the Barton 1792 Distillery operates on the same site as the historic Tom Moore Distillery, and continues to use the same methods that Moore used over a century ago when distilling his own bourbon. 1792 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from a mash of corn, rye and malted barley. While the use of corn in the bourbon's recipe adds classic notes of buttered bread, biscuits and roasted nuts, the heavy use of rye in the bourbon's mashbill yields a more complex and full-bodied whiskey. After the grains are harvested, they are mashed and fermented before being distilled through a copper-pot still. After distillation, the bourbon is aged in new, American oak casks for a minimum of eight years in Warehouse Z on the distillery's estate in Bardstown, Kentucky. Warehouse Z is situated on the edge of a bluff and as a result, enjoys the intense heat and humidity that are ideal for maturing whiskey. "When it comes to barrel aging," says Ken Pierce, Barton 1792's master distiller, "it's just like real estate location, location, location. That's why 1792 ages in Warehouse Z up there on the bluff." In addition, during the maturation process, Pierce samples each cask of bourbon as it rests to determine when the bourbon has reached its peak of maturity. "Quality in, quality out," says Pierce, who has over two decades of experience at the distillery. 1792 Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, is named after the year that Kentucky achieved statehood in the United States. For the Willett family, distilling craft whiskey is a family tradition. John David Willett began distilling at the Moore, Willett & Frenke Distillery in Kentucky during Reconstruction. In 1898, Lambert Willett, who was 15 years old at the time, began apprenticing with his father. Nearly four decades later, Lambert, together with his son, Thompson, purchased a farm on the outskirts of Bardstown, Kentucky and began construction of the Willett Distilling Company. Today, Evan Kulsveen, Thompson Willett's son-in-law and the owner of Willett Distilling Company, continues to shepherd the family legacy forward. This Willett Family Estate Small Batch rye is matured for four years in hand selected White Oak barrels for four years. Bottled at a cask strength this powerful rye is deeply complex with a touch of sweetness followed by toasted notes. 

Introducing Conor McGregor's highly anticipated Irish Whiskey, Proper No. Twelve. The whiskey is produced by the mixed martial artist's company Eire Born Spirits at the oldest whiskey distillery in Ireland. McGregor and his Master Distiller Elder, previously of Guinness, took painstaking measures to bring the whiskey to fruition. Proper No. Twelve is triple-distilled blend of fine golden grain and single malt. It is aged in ex-Bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV. "I come from a place called Crumlin, in Dublin 12. It's a place dear to my heart. It's where I learned how to fight; it made me who I am today. It's a place I'm still very much a part of every single day of my life. So, that's where the name came from. It's proper Irish whiskey and twelve is my hometown," said McGregor. Launched September of 2018, McGregor's dreams of having his own Irish whiskey have been brought to life. "Growing up on the streets of Dublin 12, I learned the values of loyalty and hard work. I respect other Irish whiskeys, but I am coming in strong, with passion and with purpose. I am the founder of this company and I am going to give it my all." The brand will be donating $5 of every case sold to first responders around the world up to $1million annually as part of their "One For All" initiative. Situated along the banks of the East River, Kings County Distillery is New York City's oldest operating whiskey distillery and the first distillery in New York City since Prohibition. Wedged between Williamsburg and Vinegar Hill, Colin Spoelman and David Haskell, the master distillers at Kings County, make hand-crafted bourbon, moonshine, and now single malt whiskey out of the 117-year old Paymaster Building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A typewriter the two distillers found on the sidewalk in Williamsburg is used to make the labels that adorn their clear, flask-like bottles, while a hairdryer (made by Revlon) is used to affix each bottle seal. Handwritten scrawls on a chalkboard keep track of different batches, and mesh laundry bags are used as strainers. Kings County is among the very first craft distillers to release a style of whiskey that can be considered the highest class of American Whiskey. Bottled-in-Bond is a designation that refers to American whiskeys (and some brandies) that are distilled, aged, and bottled entirely at one distillery, from barrels filled in one season, by one distiller. Furthermore, the whiskey must be four years old and bottled at precisely 100 proof. This impressive Bottled-In-Bond whisky earned Double Gold, Best-In-Category at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, as well as Best American Whisky, Best Bourbon, Best Small Batch Bourbon, Best Bourbon 4 Years at the 2017 International Whisky Competition.

Lismore was founded by William Lundie & Co., a brand which prospered under the guidance of John and William Lundie. This range of Speyside single malts and blends was originally named after the Inner Hebridean island between Mull and the mainland. Today Lismore is bottled by Glenfarclas owner J&G Grant using the same traditional recipes handed down by the Lundie family. Lismore currently has several releases in their range, from NAS single malts and blended Scotch to this 21-year-old single malt matured in Sherry hogsheads. Though most information about this single malt remains undisclosed, this mysterious whisky has signature rich, complex Speyside notes of rich orchard fruit, warm baking spice, and oak. In 1857, W&A Gilbey Co. was founded in a basement cellar at the corner of Oxford Street and Berwick in London. By the turn of the century, the company a wine and spirits merchant held one of the largest stocks of maturing whiskey in its inventory, and had expanded to Dublin, Belfast and Edinburgh. In 1912, Gilbeys began selling a 12 year old whiskey named Redbreast. The name was a reference to the Robin Redbreast (a type of bird) and is attributed to the Chairman of Gilberys, who was an avid ornithologist. According to Indian mythology, when Gods and Rakshasas, or demons, churned the oceans inside Mount Meru (a mythical mountain thought to be the center of physical, metaphysical and spiritual worlds), a golden pot containing the nectar of life sprang out of the mountain. The nectar was called "Amrut," which literally translates into "immortality." Amrut Distillery traces its history back to 1948 when, just one year after India declared its independence from Great Britain, Radhakrishna Jagdale began manufacturing rum and brandy, which he supplied to army canteens throughout India. After his death in 1976, the mantle was passed to his son, Neelakanta Rao Jagdale. When the younger Jagdale became Chairman of Amrut Distillery, he began experimenting with more innovative whiskies. Amrut Peated Single Malt Whisky is made from Indian barley grown at the foothills of the Himalayan mountains in a region known as Punjab (Punjab means "the land of five rivers), and peated malt sourced from Scotland. The Himalayan mountain water, along with the cold winters and fiery summers, result in a unique type of barley that is rich in nutrients and flavor. After local Indian farmers harvest the barley, it is carefully mashed and distilled in small batches to preserve the natural aroma of the Indian terroir. The whisky is then aged at an altitude of 3,000 feet above sea level in oak barrels that are laid to rest for a minimum of 4 years. During maturation, the incredibly intense Indian sun causes the whisky and oak to mingle often. In addition, the heat also leads to much greater rates of evaporation approximately 12% of maturing whisky evaporates each year in India (this is referred to as the angel's share), compared to just 2% in Scotland. As a result of the intense temperatures and humidity, whisky ages nearly three times faster in India as compared to Scotland. Pick up your bottle today!
