Every batch of Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey is hand-selected by our founders and curated by fifth-generation Master Blender, Victoria Eady Butler, who's signature is on the back of each bottle. Aged a minimum of 7 years, and bottled at 93-proof, this is a smooth sipping whiskey.

In 1776, John and James McConnell opened their Belfast distillery where they crafted the first recorded Irish Whisky brand. McConnell's Irish Whisky was a popular export worldwide, including America, where it became popular from New York to California. However, due to Prohibition and Wars around the world, the impact was too much and the distillery was closed in the 1930s.

Today, the legendary McConnell's Irish Whisky is now restored to bar rooms and saloons from Belfast to Boston! Aged 5 years, our fine blend of Irish Malt and Irish Grain Whisky is gently rested in Select Bourbon Casks bringing out beautiful overtones of vanilla sweetness with the quality of Irish in the background. Sea Sun is a new California Chardonnay whose character speaks to the unique terrain where it is sourced in Santa Barbara, Monterey and Solano Counties. These premier growing regions span several hundred miles and feature subtle differences. The result is a wine featuring the best characteristics of Chardonnay, with fruit flavors, oak and acidity in harmony and balance.

Introducing a single malt with a bold, tropical twist.

To create whisky with a tropical feel, our makers finished a portion of our smooth whiskyin barrels that previously held Caribbean rum. The result is a well-balanced and exceptionally smooth whisky. Single malt, meet summer.

The grapes are placed in wooden boxes, and left to dry in controlled humidity until February of the following year. After pressing, the traditional maceration takes place over a period of more than three weeks, which is followed by up to 3 years aging in the cellars.

The dried grapes produce a powerful wine with marvelous flavor which is aged up to three years in Allier and Slovenian oak casks prior to release.

Grapes are manually harvested upon full ripeness beginning in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in neutral vats over a period of 15-20 days with daily pumping over of the must. Upon completion the young wines are racked and aged for 12 months in French barrique. Barrels range from 1-5 years old.

This 8 Year Old blended Scotch Whisky has flavors that complement our Eastern Highlands Scottish character of floral and honeyed flavor notes of freshly sliced green bell peppers, caramel and a wisp of smoke at the end.

Fruit is hand harvested and brought to the cellars in small crates to avoid disturbing the ripe grapes. The grapes are cooled at the winery right at the foot of the vineyards. The must is macerated and vinified with pump-overs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Following racking the young wine is transferred into third use or older French oak barriques where it will rest for five months before another racking and an additional 7 months in larger 50 hl oak barrels. The goal is a slow and delicate aging that stabilizes tannins and polyphenols.

Each variety is manually harvested, first the Pinot Noir at the end of August, then the Nero dAvola at the end of September. Each parcel is vinified in small, stainless steel tanks. Long maceration at a controlled temperature of 75-82F allow for the extraction of only the best polyphenols. The Nero dAvola ages in stainless steel to preserve freshness, while the Pinot Noir matures for nine months in small French barriques. Following blending, the wines are bottle refined.

The grapes are picked in August when they are fully ripe and richness is at its maximum. The grapes are gently pressed and cold settled. Part of the must undergoes a short (12 hours) cold maceration, followed by classic decanting. Fermentation begins in stainless steel tanks. When the must achieves 4-5% alcohol, the wine is racked into French oak barriques where fermentation is completed. The wine then ages on its lees in French oak barriques for 9-12 months. It is then bottle refined for a minimum of three months before release.

Massive prehistoric glaciers dug a broad gorge in the porphyry massif between the Ortler Alps and the Dolomites and created the Adige River and Lake Caldaro, which is fed by groundwater. Soils are made up of light marl. Vines average 30 years old.

The grapes are lightly pressed and the must is clarified using natural sedimentation, after which it is fermented at a controlled temperature and aged shortly in 100% stainless steel.

This wine is made exclusively from the famed Bockstein vineyard which is a VDP Grosse Lage. VDP. Grosse Lage is the designation for the very best German vineyards (equivalent of the Burgundian Grand Cru). The sites are precisely demarcated vineyard parcels. It is here that the best wines ripen, wines that express a unique vineyard origin and possess exceptional aging potential.

Kabinett is the first late-harvest predicate. Ripe, healthy grapes ripen and are selected and harvested by hand. The must sugar weight must be at least 75 Oechsle (18.2 Brix). The wine is aged for about 6 months on the lees in stainless steel vats.

28 Island Vodka is carefully crafted from a blend of 70% corn and 30% organic winter wheat and distilled with the finest American-made copper pot still. Old Cockney is a contemporary style gin crafted from a base of organic winter wheat. The botanical blend of coriander and orange peel provide nice floral and citrus aromas and flavors, which are balanced by spice from black peppercorn and earthy elements from orris root, angelica root and gentian root. Our gin possesses heavy juniper, but pine notes serve as an undertone in the flavor profile. We are excited to bring the Green Fairy to Detroit and the Great Lakes Region with the release of our Nain Rouge Absinthe Verte. Starting with a traditional 19th century French recipe we distill Wormwood, Fennel, Green Anise, and over 100 pounds of botanicals to create a spirit that has an unfathomable depth of flavor and complexity. Colored with peppermint, hyssop and nettle to produce a beautiful rich earthy green color.
