Don Fulano Tequila
HISTORY
Born in the Highlands of Jalisco, and raised in the Valleys of Tequila. Don Fulano is a product of the Fonseca family whose story begins in the Highlands of Jalisco where their great grandfathers began cultivating agave 140 years ago. Today - respected agave farmers – they also run La Tequileña, one of the highest-rated and most awarded tequila distilleries.
Don Fulano Reposado is the great representative of the spirit of Don Fulano: a marriage of mature highland agave with French limousine oak. It’s rich and buttery, yet strangely delicate and ethereal at the same time. Cooked agave fully expresses itself and blends seamlessly with an herbal sweetness, hints of mature fruit compote, and dark chocolate. There’s also a slight spice element that emerges from its delicate finish. A joy to sip on its own, paired with food, or in a great cocktail.
Palate: Enticing sweet prune, cooked agave, and mature fruit compote from the mid-palate.
Aroma: Limousin oak emerges with notes of vanilla bean, dark chocolate, and baking spices.
Nose: Dried herbs and grass add to the delicate and ethereal character of this expression.
Finish: Cream and ashy minerals add to this complex and pure Reposado.

Don Fulano Anejo is a marriage of very old tequilas aged in French limousine and Nevers oak casks that previously held wines. It’s deep and complex with dried fruits and spice elements like cardamom and allspice which complement elegantly the right touch of sweetness that comes from slowly cooked mature agave. Honey and caramelized nuts emerge from a long finish together with refreshing light menthol. Great to wrap up a nice dinner.
Palate: Lavish spice elements like cardamom and allspice emerge.
Aroma: Dry on the palate with hints of honey and caramelized nuts as well as toasted coconut.
Nose: Sweet, creamy vanilla is counterbalanced by notes of mint and menthol.
Finish: Underlying notes of dark chocolate and leather create a distillate that's a pleasure to indulge in after dinner.
Don Fulano Imperial is the oldest, exceptionally rich, and complex with a great combination of elegance and power. Blended from dark European oak and oloroso sherry casks it’s abundant in fruit notes and spices like clove and cardamom. Deep notes of old leather, tobacco, and a lavish aroma of black cherries frame its singular style. It is velvety and permanent in the mouth. An exotic delight to sip on its own.
Palate: Sweet brown spices, cloves, nutmeg, and pepper are abundant in this expression.
Aroma: We can sense some sweetness from caramel, toffee, and chocolate-covered fruit that is balanced by the freshness of menthol.
Nose: Complex flavors of coffee beans, dark chocolate, old leather, and tobacco as well as cola nut and roasted nuts create a unique sensory experience.
Finish: Velvety, rich and incredibly complex, the Imperial is truly outstanding and is best enjoyed neat.
