Detailed Description
This is the 10th expression in the limited edition Grandeur range from The GlenDronach. It's a 27 year old single malt that was matured in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximnez and Oloroso sherry puncheons and butts, which have been described as some of the distillery's oldest and most unique sherry casks. It was bottled at a robust 50.1% ABV, with a limited release of just 2,293 numbered bottles.

Nose: Black truffle, plum compote and rich treacle initially. Dried apricots, oily walnuts and brandied cherries develop underneath.
Palate: Creamy hazelnut, Seville orange marmalade and stewed apples, with clove and coffee liqueur.
Finish: Antique leather and plenty of sweet earthy tones.
