Cascahuin Tahona Blanco Tequila is an artisanal blanco from Jalisco (NOM 1123), made to showcase pure agave character using traditional methods. This expression highlights slow, hands-on production techniques that emphasize minerality, texture, and bright agave flavor.

Tasting Experience

• Appearance: Crystal clear with bright clarity at 42% ABV (84 proof).

• Nose: Fresh cooked agave with citrus leaves, orange blossom, creamy agave, herbal lift, and a hint of white pepper.

• Palate: Sweet and herbal with cooked agave, Meyer lemon, green pepper, olive, minerality, honeyed texture, and touches of tropical fruit.

• Finish: Long and clean, with lingering minerality, subtle caramelized banana, dry herbal spice, and a lasting agave presence.

Craftsmanship

• Agave & Region: Made from 100% Blue Weber agave harvested in the Valles / El Arenal region of Jalisco.

• Roasting & Extraction: Cooked in stone or brick ovens and extracted slowly using a tahona stone wheel to preserve depth and texture.

• Fermentation & Distillation: Open air fermentation in cement vats with agave fibers, followed by double distillation in stainless pot stills fitted with copper coil.

• Profile: Additive free and crafted to emphasize agave, herb, citrus, and mineral character.
